Epic Games released an update for its MOBA-style game Paragon today, and it includes the first new playable hero. The soul-sucking wraith Sevarog is now available to all players alongside the balance patch for other heroes.
Sevarog is described as a melee-focused "tank jungler" that wields his giant hammer to crush enemies and devour their souls. As he consumes souls by killing opponents, he stacks health and gains damage boosts, changing in size and appearance and becoming a powerful late-game threat. See him in action in the trailer below.

The update also introduces balance patches for heroes Grux and Feng Mao, and you can read the specific changes here. Both Sevarog and the update are free for everyone that has purchased the early access versions of Paragon on PC or PlayStation 4.
