Marvel Entertainment and TinyCo, the mobile developer behind Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, are teaming up to create a new Avengers mobile game. Rather than grappling with adult themes, TinyCo is bringing the world of superheroes back to school.

Marvel Avengers Academy is a new adventure/simulation game featuring the classic Marvel superheroes and villains in new roles as young high school students. Developer TinyCo teases that players will get to experience familiar characters like Thor, Black Widow, and Loki reimagined to fit their new personas.

Original storylines are also being developed for the game, according to TinyCo, written in conjunction with Marvel Entertainment. Comic book and animation writer Allen Warner and David Nakayama will also play a role in the game’s creation.

“There’s a mystery for you to uncover—a shocking truth that lies beneath the very campus you’re exploring,” said Bill Rosemann, creative director for Marvel Games. “What has transformed them into students, and what chain of events have assembled them at the ultimate superhuman university?”

Marvel Avengers Academy is scheduled to release in Q1 2016 as a free-to-download game with in-app transactions for iOS and Android devices.
