From the beginning, the Green family just wanted to tell the story about their son Joel, who fought a four-year battle with cancer. This prompted them to create a video game experience that showed Joel's day-to-day life and what it was like to love him. Unfortunately, Joel lost his battle at five years old. Instead of closing the project, Ryan Green continued to work on the game and even shifted its direction. And now, That Dragon, Cancer is finally ready to be shared with the rest of the world.

The emotional game launches on January 12 and will be available on PC, Mac, Ouya, and ForgeTV.
