Metroid Prime: Federation Force is coming next month, and while it isn’t the Metroid game fans want, Nintendo hopes to win you over. Part of the campaign to win Chozo hearts and minds is a free demo for one of the modes out today.
You can download Metroid Prime: Federation Force Blast Ball absolutely free on the 3DS eShop right now. The game is described as “the most intense 3-on-3 sport in the Metroid universe.”

In the video above, you can also check out some of the cooperative mission mode. Of note, the enemy difficulty won't scale to the number of players you have. So anything fewer than a full, four-person party is going to be harder than intended.
Metroid Prime: Federation Force will be out on 3DS on August 19.
