Nintendo released a new overview video today that shows off many of the 3DS version of Super Mario Maker's mechanics.
Unsurprisingly, the 3DS version is very close to the Wii U version, though there are some shortcomings, like its limited online interactivity. The act of making levels, however, appears to be mostly identical to the Wii U version of the game, which is good news for all the Mario creators out there.
Super Mario Maker 3DS releases for its new platform on December 2.
