Street Fighter V is still a few weeks away, but Capcom is already discussing some of the post-launch plans. The publisher is leading with news of a free add-on that will be landing in June.
When Street Fighter V launches, players will be able to experience character-specific stories. The cinematic story expansion coming later will bridge the gap between Street Fighter III and IV. The concept appears to be similar to how NetherRealm approaches Mortal Kombat’s story mode.
Capcom also indicated that the in-game store will not launch until March with the first content drop. The publisher is giving players enough time to earn fight money first. The in-game store will offer items redeemable with earned currency or real money currency (Zenny).
