Digital card game Hex: Shards of Fate is now available as a fully released game. It hasn’t been easy for developer Cryptozoic, which survived a lawsuit with Magic: The Gathering creator Wizards of the Coast, but Hex is now out of beta.
The launch comes alongside the long-awaited release of a solo campaign. There are a host of updates, as well. Champions have new race and class combinations, dungeons have been added, a new talent system, and race-dependent quests.

The campaign, called Chronicles of Entrath, offers eight different races and three different classes. Starting the campaign will earn you a starter deck and a number of other cards. A tutorial has been added alongside the solo mode to ease players in.
If Hearthstone has given you the digital collectible card game itch, Hex might be a good place to scratch it. And it won't cost you a dime to find out.
The game is free-to-play, and you can create an account on the official website. We’ll have a review of Hex: Shards of Fate in the coming days.
