The Warhammer 40K universe is one of perpetual conflict. Humans have spread throughout the galaxy, and thousands of them die every day for the glory of the Imperium, defending mankind from Xenos and Chaos.

We’ve previously covered the game’s destructible environments, which we saw in action at E3. The game is progressing slowly and still has a way to go. The potential is there, but developer NeoCore still has much to polish and tune before it’s ready for launch.

In the latest trailer, we see some of that progress in how location-based damage plays into the game. There is a weight to everything in combat, with bolter shots slowing enemies down and slicing limbs having a direct impact on enemy abilities.
