Now the series’ latest upcoming title, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, will travel back to the 1940s again for its zombie mode, though the outbreak will unfold far away from the frontlines.

Treyarch released a prologue video today for Shadows of Evil, the latest incarnation of Call of Duty's popular co-op survival zombie mode. The game takes place in a film noir-inspired world complete with crooked detectives and shady murders, and tasks players with finding redemption for its four playable characters by unraveling the mystery behind a shadowy figure.
