Sony is stacking up April with big name releases. Nathan Drake will have his time in the sun later in the month, and he's going to be preceded by Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank.
The game, which is a complete re-envisioning of Ratchet & Clank's 2002 debut, isn't a shot-for-shot update. Instead, it's based on the movie. Yes, the movie is based on the game. The original game. Not this one. This one is based on the movie. Just watch the trailer.

Ratchet & Clank is due out here in North America on April 12. The movie on which it is based, which is in turn... nope. Not doing this again.
The movie is coming out on April 28. So you can play the game based on the movie based on the game before the movie comes out. Get it? Good.
