Shadow Warrior 2 was one of the stand-out indies at PAX East. The team at Flying Wild Hog has overhauled its approach to the classic 3D Realms title, turning the linear slashfest into an open-world experience.

What you’re seeing in the video above is a version of what was on the PAX East show floor. Because the wilderness area (where this demo takes place) is procedurally generated, each time you enter will be different. This includes time of day, weather, and the landscape itself.
