Square Enix's I am Setsuna, which often references Chrono Trigger as inspiration, is set to arrive in three months. The game will be available on July 19 on PC and PlayStation 4. The game is meant to be a callback to Square Enix's calssic 16-bit RPGs, like the early Final Fantasys and Chrono Trigger, but does not serve as a sequel to either franchise. Here's how Square Enix describes the plot: I am Setsuna tells the sorrowful story of Setsuna, a young woman of incredible inner strength, and the sacrifice she must undertake to the save the people of her land. Players will be immersed in an emotional and unforgettable story of true bravery as Setsuna leaves her hometown with her bodyguards on a journey to the farthest land. Along with the release date announcement, Square Enix also offered up a new trailer and some new art for the game, which you can see below.
