Total War: Warhammer brings Creative Assembly’s large-scale realtime strategy series into Games Workshop’s fantasy setting. If you’ve played previous Total War games, you know the basics of what to expect, but this is Warhammer, and magic and monsters change everything.
The game features two intersecting modes. There’s a turn-based strategy phase, during which you can manage towns, upgrade heroes, and embark on quests. There’s also a massive real-time strategy phase when armies come into conflict.
