The follow-up to the 2011 Kaos Studios and THQ game Homefront launches today and to celebrate, Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver have released a new trailer to give prospective players an idea of what's at stake in Homefront: The Revolution. The game serves as a reboot to the IP, delivering a different take on the story, as well as a distinct open-world structure. Set in an alternate-timeline version of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the shooter is said to deliver a single-player campaign that can last around 30 hours.

We also learned more about what is included in the Expansion Pass. Those who purchase the Expansion Pass will have access to three separate single-player campaign expansions, as well as exclusive bonuses for the game's co-op mode, The Resistance. The first two single-player expansions are called The Voice of Freedom and Aftermath. Both of those are scheduled to release sometime in 2016 and will add new districts and hours of content to the single-player campaign. The third expansion included in the pack, Beyond the Walls, is said to be significantly larger than the first two expansions and will release in 2017.

You can check out the trailer below for a glimpse of the action that takes place in Homefront: The Revolution.
