Overwatch's open beta kicks off this week, giving players a chance to spend some more time with Blizzard's upcoming hero shooter before its May 24 release date. Today, the studio released a new cinematic trailer starring Winston, the game's gorilla scientist, as he tries to rally the gang back together.

The game's open beta begins May 4 at 4:00 p.m. Pacific, running through May 9, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you preordered the game before April 29, you can get into the beta starting today at 4:00 p.m. Pacific. The beta includes four game modes (assault, escort, assault/escort hybrid, control) and 12 maps in 6v6 matches. Players will also have access to 21 heroes, which you can read more about here.
