More in-game outfits continue to be announced from Capcom for the July 15 North American release of Monster Hunter Generations. A new trailer has revealed that players will be able to equip popular Capcom character Strider Hiryu's Cypher sword and armor in game.
Strider Hiryu was first the star of a manga by his own name in Japan, and then was introduced into the video game realm in 1989 by starring in his own arcade game, Strider. Since then he has appeared in various Capcom titles, most notably as a reoccurring fighter in the Marvel vs. Capcom series. His equipment's DLC crossover into Monster Hunter Generation will be free to download.

During E3 along with a trailer and new screenshots showing off some monsters and a ton of new gameplay, it was announced that those who have saved data from Monster Hunter 4 on their 3DS will be able to download a pterodactyl armor set for the new cat-like species called a felyne in prowler mode. Before that, an Okami Amaterasu outfit was said to be available for the prowler mode as well.
At the end of the E3 demo, Capcom let players know that they would be able to play that same demo themselves for free on the Nintendo eShop on June 30.
